We know that as Christians, you put others before yourselves (Philippians 2:3) and strive to be at peace with everyone, (Romans 12:18) but we want to make things clear, so there would be no question. In order to make sure that everyone knows what is expected of them, we have this list of rules.
To keep the forums running smoothly and to prevent any problems from cropping up, please follow these simple rules.

Rules:
1. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts. We expect you to treat everyone as you would like to be treated, with love and respect.
2. As these are Christian discussion boards, and as we come from varying backgrounds, there will be times when others' views differ from your own. When expressing this, please do so in a calm and loving tone. Never question another member's Christianity.
3. We have many forums, each for a different type of discussion. Please start threads in the proper forum for the subject matter. The Boards staff is expected to keep threads as organized as possible, but please help them out by following this rule.
4. Read through the topics in the forum before starting a new thread to see if there is already a thread like the one you would like to create. Do not create a duplicate thread. If you do, your thread will likely be merged with the first one.
5. Advertising, spamming, and trolling are forbidden. This includes using the forum email and private message system to spam other members. Those who join this community for the purpose of posting spam will be banned immediately.
6. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Subsequent accounts will be banned.
7. Respect the authority of the message board staff. We consider ourselves servants by financing, maintaining and running the message boards. If you have a problem or question with the way something was handled, please discuss it with the moderator or administrator in private. We respect the privacy of every board member and will never discuss your situation with anyone privately or publicly. We expect the same from you.
8. PG13 only content. Don't post anything you wouldn't want your mom to read. Or my mom...
9. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice or explanation, though we will try our best to communicate these actions to the related user.
10. We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to the BK Boards is a privilege and not a right. Before banning, we will make every effort to work the situation out. Banning is only used as a last resort.
While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
These rules are in accordance with standard etiquette for online communities at large, and are adapted from the rules at vBulletin.com and those at ThirdDay.com.
